We arrived at last! The long flight seemed even longer as I sat between two strangers while Lily and Nicole sat together behind me. It appeared as if they got a lot of sleep, whereas I was sandwiched in and got probably about two hours tops. But who's complaining because here I am in Nice. The girls were dropped off at their apartment, and I was met by Pierre, the old man who runs the student dorms where I am living. It is a lot like last year. The internet is accessible only by a two foot cord. Oh and yes, no a/c- just a fan. But once again, who's complaining? After putting my stuff away I met up with Crawford and the Steck family for a refreshing peach drink at their hotel (overlooking the Mediterranean) and then escorted him to the apartment. I took two pictures along the way back to my place. Hope you enjoy. The weather is perfect. The colors are beautiful. I can't believe I'm leaving in just two short weeks.
Wow, the two photos already look fabulous. Nice is so nice. sorry about the AC as it is freezing in my house right now. Whew, let me go turn it up some!! have fun! By the way, why didn't you stay with the Stecks? Perhaps their hotel room was conveniently cooled!!
